To kick off the promo for the highly anticipated final season of Squid Game, Netflix teamed up with SUPERHEROES to drop a teaser that pays tribute to the icon at the heart of the series: Player 456.

Set high above the streets of Manhattan, the video opens on a balcony where we hear faint voices- cheering, chanting, and even the iconic Squid Game flute song. Something big is happening. As we approach the edge of the balcony, we peer down to reveal a large crowd of people carrying the larger-than-life 456 jersey above their heads like a championship banner. Hundreds of fans move in unison, celebrating the rise of the man who defied the game.
