The creative process is never linear. And it almost never leads to the same results. With Around the Corner, the latest episode of Made with Lenovo Yoga x INTEL, we set out to showcase just that, by giving 7 digital street artists the same creative starting point: a simple nighttime alleyway clip. It served as a metaphor for a creative block, challenging them to turn it into something fresh and unexpected.

The clip was short and uneventful: a 15-30 second POV shot of someone walking into an empty alley at night. The twist? Each artist had to transform it into something eye-catching, with their own unique spin.

@JennyMJiang hosted a lively snack party, where different snacks dance while a hamburger DJ spins the tracks.

@CamylBuena transformed black and white footage into a vibrant garden, following a butterfly as it brings color to the scene.

@Tonqart introduced a cat-man superhero, merging cats together into a human-like form to fight crime.

@NudeRobot brought a giant metal arachnid to life using debris and metal objects around the alleyway.

@Voidzto placed a floating light switch in the alley, turning light to dark and vice versa, ending with an explosion of marbles.

@MEditat created floating skateboards like a school of fish, hovering and gliding through the alley.

@ShubiDubiDoo turned the space into a whack-a-worm game, where a hammer tries to hit a worm like in a whack-a-mole.

What an awesome project it was! And it's pretty clear: indeed, no human is the same. We all have different experiences, perspectives and techniques that turn our work into unique stories. Whether it's surreal elements, suspense, or infused with humor or emotion, everybody is unique.

Of course, like we always do with "Made with Lenovo Yoga", we also released a 'How I Made It' video for each of the executions, to inspire the next generation of young creatives. So… what’s waiting around your corner?
