Who said October is too early for a little holiday magic? Our digital street art studio JIMMY teamed up with Astrid & Miyu, bringing their iconic advent calendars to life.

Together with creator Danny Behar we created larger than life snow globes featuring the advent calendars in New York’s Bryant Park, Edinburgh’s Calton Hill, and on London’s Carnaby Street.

Each snow globe includes an Astrid & Miyu Advent Calendar slowly opening up and bursting with shiny, surreal objects like stars, gift boxes, and balloons — all representing the seasonal treasures of the advent calendars.

Last year, the famous calendars sold out in just 24 hours, so this year we needed to think way outside the jewelry box to drive presales. Our not boring answer was silver, gold, and a little CGI.

This project for Astrid & Miyu follows work JIMMY has created for such brands as Lenovo, Fenty X Puma and others.
