Making Of LG’s ‘Steady Feathers’ : the most extreme camera ever

Making Of LG’s ‘Steady Feathers’ : the most extreme camera ever from SuperHeroes Amsterdam on Vimeo.

How do you tell the world about LG G2’s Optical Image Stabilisation technology. Sounds boring, right? Well not if you involve a chicken.

“LG has found a hilarious alternative to technical jargon.”

During our preparations we stumbled upon the vestibulo-ocular reflex of a chicken; a chicken’s amazing ability to keep its eye focused during movement. Yes, we know, we love a little craziness. But we agreed that this was not just crazy, but the perfect way to illustrate the steadiness of the LG G2 smartphone camera.

“The ad is as helpful as it is hilarious.”

We just needed a chicken and an Aussie cameraman called Dave, to tell the story.
No one could predict the chemistry that was created between the two; a beautiful relationship, on and off screen.

Steady feathers or “chicken cam,” as it became affectionately known in the office, continues to rack up views and comments on YouTube.

With a magnificent 6 million views on YouTube, it seems Lizzie the chicken got the internet world clucking.

“We salute you Lizzy and your GallusCam.”

In our best Aussie accent, we are truly “stoked”! And a clucking thanks to director Willem Gerritsen, Czar, and our Korean friends at Krema Worldwide.
