Remaster the internet
To launch LG’s new V20, a smartphone that takes super smooth 4K video, we decided to remaster the internet, one video at a time.
Some of the best viral videos of all time were shot with shaky camera work and crackling audio. We wanted to give these classics a super smooth tribute and reshoot them on the V20.
Teaming up with original creators like (Damn) Daniel, Mike “bottle flip” Senatore and the Double Rainbow dude, we gave the creators a chance to redo their famous films, this time with the smooth videography of the V20 and a serenading 90’s RnB band to boot!
THE RESULTS
The campaign rocked AdAge’s viral charts for 3 weeks in a row and ended up in AdWeek’s overview of best online campaigns of the year.
