Keeping It Short & Simple

BRIEF

Energiedirect.nl, a Dutch challenger in the energy market, asked us to create a brand campaign celebrating the ease of their green energy products and services.

THINKING

In order to put emphasis on the user friendly traits of energiedirect.nl, we wanted to make use of sequential storytelling.
By launching a variety of different videos we were able to keep the content short and simple.

The little stories revolve around a remarkable character called Klaas. He’s a man of few words who simplifies complicated questions and shows how energiedirect.nl breaks with illogical conventions. Why is buying solar panels so complicated? Who pays for that expensive welcoming gift? The videos and messages are funny, simple and fast.

RESULTS

In three years time, the brand awareness has grown tremendously, from 15% to 63%, an all time high for the brand.
