We built a time machine with Studio Job!
The new OnePlus 11 phone was designed to last four years, to prove it, we sent it four years into the future with a time machine called J.E.F.F.
J.E.F.F. (Jumping Eleven Forward into the Future) was a bespoke installation designed and built by renowned Dutch artist Job Smeets and his atelier Studio Job.
Our time machine aged the OnePlus 11 four years into the future, with endless scrolling, constant updates, hundreds of charges and app use, to prove not only that it can last, but that it retains a fast and smooth experience years later.
RESULTS
J.E.F.F. teleported as a physical installation across a series of European capital cities. With its unique shape it attracted tonnes of attention at trade shows, shopping malls, and city squares, showcasing its sustainable message in playful, and buy doing so helping OnePlus to sell out of its new phone in all of Europe!
